After a wait of 22 years Central Government Health Scheme was started in Bengaluru in 1976. At present there is approx. 1,20,000 beneficiaries in Bengaluru. CGHS helps the beneficiaries to bear with the cumbersome and expensive system of reimbursement of medical expenses.
With effect from 1st April 2015 CGHS wellness centers work from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM without any lunch break.

We need a CGHS wellness centre in Whitefield immediately
The Sarjapura road dispensary (wellness centre no.7, which is at present at Koramangala) is not convenient to those staying nearby Sarjapur and surroundings. The distance from Sarjapura is about 17 kms. A large number of pensioners are staying both sides of the road. It will be helpful, if a new wellness centre is opened at least nearby the outer ring road close to Sarjapura Signal. One or two doctors from the wc no.7 can be posted in the new wc. This suggestion, if considered will be helpful to cghs beneficiaries,especially senior citizens, staying in and around HSR lay out, Hosa road, electronic city area, areas up to Sarjapura, Bellandur, Panatur, Vartur, and even up to Marathahally bridge. No WC is available at present close to these areas, other than WC 7 at Koramangala.

Hello CGHS , we are staying Bangalore Karnataka , my sincere complaint is
1. CGHS attached private hospitals are not at all responding to CGHS beneficiaries
2. the reason behind is they are telling that CGHS is not clearing our pending amount , there are lot and lot of amount dues not cleared.
3. For the emergency services they not willing to give beds to CGHS beneficiaries.
so , it is creating a lot of problems & inconvenience to CGHS beneficiaries & pensioners as well.
private hospitals that refusing & stopped to provide health services are :

etc.
My humble request is that please and please communicate with the private hospitals regarding that giving proper treatments & beds for emergency services….

Please provide a CGHS dispensary at Yelahanka . there are several central government employees (retired )are residing surrending Yelahanka area and facing lot of difficulties for treatment .
