Health Ministry Has Started Tele-Consultation By Using E-Sanjeevani In Delhi For CGHS Beneficiaries

By | October 6, 2020

Now, senior citizens, who are Central Government Health Scheme
(CGHS) beneficiaries, can dial for their doctor and seek treatment. Demand for tele-consultation services for the beneficiaries given the current pandemic situation had been growing, especially since government guidelines suggest that those over 65 and with co-morbidities constitute a high-risk group for COVID-19, and ought to stay in.

These e-services are available between 9.00 am and 12 noon on all working days.

For ease of use, this platform has been linked with the ID of the beneficiaries. For availing of specialist OPD services, the beneficiaries are required to register on the platform using their mobile number after which an OTP will be generated for verification purposes. After verification, the beneficiaries can log on to the system, fill patient registration form, request for a token and upload health records (if required).

The patients will receive patient ID and token through SMS and they will also be intimated about their number in the online queue. On their turn, a ‘call now’ button will be activated and using the same, the beneficiary concerned can initiate a video call with a specialist for consultation.

After the tele-consultation, an e-prescription will be generated. Using this, the patients can get medicines issued from their CGHS Wellness Centre.

For now the services are available for following facilities

  1. Medicine
  2. Orthopaedics
  3. ENT
  4. Eye

Simplify it. Sanjeevani is open to all. In that case why so many proofs are required for you. Open one clinic at one place. Ask for Mob. number, E mail address and CGHS card number.Reflect the list of available doctors. The patient will select the preferred doctor. Allot him a wait list number. Whenever his turn comes the the doctor will call the patient. The doctor will be given powers to verify the details of case history once he presses the cghs card number. I am in secunderabad.Clinic no 9 .The doctor will intrude into my case file. The doctor will verify the history if necessary and prescribe the medicines as a continuation process in that clinic. This information will also be get recorded in that clinic.
The doctor issues a prescription and closes the case. It is upto the user to download it and purchase the medicine in outside market or get it collected from same clinic.
Alternatively ,already we are getting on line appointment. Let the same doctor issues the prescription and close the case. The patient either get the medicines collected or purchases outside at his own risk.
