- Pensioners have the choice to either opt for Central Government Health Scheme or not
- They can opt to become CGHS beneficiary for lifetime by paying 10 years subscription.
- The beneficiary will get a valid CGHS card in any city covered under CGHS.
- For those who live in a CGHS non covered city can avail facility in nearest city covered under CGHS.
